What to Expect

Psychotherapy sessions at Solstice typically last between 50-60 minutes. The first session is dedicated to learning about your past and current challenges, as well as what brings you into therapy at this point in your life.

After the initial session, you and your therapist will work collaboratively as a team to create a list of goals and objectives that are tailored specifically to your needs, presenting concerns, and relevant diagnoses.

From there, therapy becomes a space to explore and process these challenges and struggles that you are navigating. Together, you and your therapist will uncover hidden meanings and themes underneath your day-to-day challenges to guide you toward healing and thriving.

Clinicians at Solstice frequently incorporate psychoeducation and skill-building into their therapeutic work, offering practical tools and therapeutic concepts that can provide understanding  to your experiences. Therapy at Solstice is centered around both developing insight and learning new ways to navigate life with greater resilience and self-compassion.
